Your cv is your gateway to a new career. First impressions count and we do not rewrite or adjust your cv for our clients. If you cannot write a cv that sells yourself then you are probably in the wrong job. Check your cv for accuracy with dates, spelling, grammar etc these are all points that will go against you. Keep it brief and to the point with a maximum of 3 pages and your most current role on the first page.

Interview

Be on Time!! You cannot control the traffic so always plan to get there at least 20 minutes earlier, especially if you don't know where you are going.

1st impressions count. Dress in business dress, don't wear anything outrageous and smile when you meet your future employer.

Be honest. let's face facts, the person interviewing you is a professional at this. It is unlikely you will be able to tell an untruth and get away with it. If you lack a skill or experience give examples of how you would use your resourcefulness to get around the issue. Be enthusiastic and positive and talk about your successes both in and out of the workplace. Nobody wants to hire a grump who can't sell themselves.
